Objectives of PhD Research:
- Evolution of sand steel and glass beads steel interface behaviour under cyclic loading when amplitude of shearing is changed in 2D interface shear tests.
- 3D Dsicrete element method Interface Shear testing with and without rough interface.
- Surface Profile evolution involving paramaters of roughness such as Ra, Rn, Rmax.
- Use of Machine learning algorithms to predict the Shear and volumteric behaviour and comparison with experimental tests.
Tools Used during Research:
- Python 3.10
