Prof. Cristina Tsuha

3SR received the visit of Prof. Cristina Tsuha, professor in geotechnical engineering at the University of São Paulo in Brazil

This visit took place in the frame of an ongoing French-Brazilian CAPES-COFEBUB project, devoted to marine and terrestrial geotechnical solutions for energetic transition, in which the 3SR lab is involved, alongside with the Université G. Eiffel from the French side and two additional Brazilian universities. Cristina is at the origin of the project and she is leading it for the Brazilian side.
On Tuesday 3 Sept., Cristina gave us a talk entitled “Brazilian experience with: (1) helical piles, a potential solution for floating offshore wind platform, and (2) energy foundations”.
Cristina was a postdoctoral fellow at the 3SR in 2009, working with late Prof. Pierre Foray. She really enjoyed the visit of the lab, in particular the calibration chamber!
